About Artist
Radhika Ramanujan began her journey in dance in Bharatanatyam at a tender age of 7, and she further honed her skills under the guidance and tutelage of inimitable dancer couple Guru Shri Kiran Subramaniam and Smt . Sandya Kiran of ‘Rasika’ Bangalore. After her ‘Arangetram’ in 1993, Radhika delved further into her passion for Bharatanatyam and rose to new heights performing on several prestigious platforms in India and abroad.
Scholarhips and honors adorned her mantel. She is graded artist of Doordashan and has performed extensively and won accolades. Memorable performances, to name a few have been at EFCEP series conducted by the ICCR, Kinkini Nrityotsava, Udupi Dance festival, International Dance Alliance festival at Delhi, Hyderabad, Mysore, Chennai, Hampi Utsava, Delhi International Art festival, Virasat festival and many more. She has been active participant in the programmes put forth by Ananya a non-profit organization based out of Bangalore which provides platform for enthusiastic upcoming and established artists. She also imparts training to enthusiastic students at her school of dance named ‘Kalaranga’ in Malleswaram.
