Vibha started singing from tender age of six. She is a senior disciple of Pt. Vinayak Torvi, a world renowned Hindustani Vocalist, a doyen of Gwalior, Kirana Gharanas, disciple of Gayanacharya Gururao Deshpande and Bharat Ratna, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. Her gifted voice mesmerizes the audience in her performances. She has won in various state and national level competitions. She won the All India Radio, National Level Competition. She has been awarded scholarship, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India, for advanced training in classical music. She won the prestigious Aryabhatta Award for young and talented vocalists of India.Vibha is a regular performer in major Music Festivals and Baithaks across India.She is a post graduate & a gold medalist in Sanskrit from Bangalore University.
