About Artists
Kum. Archana and Chetana’s upbringing has been at the SOS children’s village. They graduated from Christ’s College and completed Engineering in Information Science from Don Bosco. They started learning dance at the age of 9 under Guru Smt. Devaki Narasimhan had their Rangapravesham at Ravindra Kalakshetra on February 16th , 2004. Currently they are undergoing advanced training under Guru B Bhanumati and Guru Sheela Chandra Shekar. As a part of Nrityakalamandiram dance school they have taken advance dance training for the past ten years. They have performed in several festivals like Bangalore Habba, Sai Nrityotsav, Ankura festival,Myore Dasara festival, etc. to name a few.
Kumari Priyanka Rao is an accomplished student of Sri Aurobindo Memorial School Banashankari, Bangalore. She began her journey in dance with her mother Smt Karuna Rao when she was five. She is currently under the tutelage of Guru B.Bhanumati and Smt. Sheela Chandrashekhar. Priyanka is also well trained in Carnatic music under Dr. Meenakshi Ravi and now continues with Vidushi R Chandrika. She has performed in several festivals like Thygaraja Aradhana, Chiguru conducted by Kannada & Culture Department, Udupi Mattha Rajaangana, as part of Bharataanjali has participated in Bangalore Habba, Hampi festival, etc. to name a few. She has won Chinnara Kalashree award from Chief Minister Of Karnataka.
