Aswini CP is a graceful classical dancer who has specialized in Kuchipudi and also been immensely trained in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. Hailing from Kannur, the city of looms and lores, she has imbibed the very essence of the culture and she elegantly gives an artistic expression to the same. She has relished the very essence of Mohiniyattam under the guidance of Guru Kalamandalam Leelamani teacher. She has also learned the elegance of Kuchipudi under the guidance of Prof.Dr. Vasant Kiran. Having completed her high school from Kalamandalam by opting Mohiniyattam as main subject and Kuchupudi as subsidiary subject and pursued diploma in Kuchupudi from Department of Performing arts, Reva University and diploma and MFA in Bharathanatyam from Kalaikaveri College of Fine Arts, Tamil University and currently pursuing Ph.D from Annamalai University.
