About Artists
Natyasruti was founded in 2002 by Carnatic musican and Bharatanatyam dancer Smt.Sumitra Nitin to provide holistic training in the twin arts of Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam. Nat-yasruti has the distinction of producing accomplished performers in both art forms. The Nat-yasruti music ensemble comprises a group of children who have presented thematic concerts at Nadasurabhi Cultural Association, Koramangala and at the ISKCON temple Bangalore. They have also performed on Sankara TV where they sang the Tiruppavai during the month of Margazhi. The dancers trained at Natyasruti have performed at several prestigious organisations bringing credit to the institution.
